01-20-2010 The James DeCocq Campaign has engaged DeSilva Communications to coordinate and produce a fund raising golf tournament. James DeCocq is running as a Republican in the preliminary election to represent the 33rd District. The tournament is scheduled for March 26, 2010.

01-01-2010 DeSilva Communications has been engaged by Entrust Administration Services of Lake Mary to produce their first annual Golf4Wheels Tournament to benefit the Wheelchair Foundation. The Tournament is scheduled for February 15, 2010, at the Heathrow Country Club.

12-04-09 DeSilva Communications recently produced the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial PMG Classic to benefit the FHFM Cancer Institute, at the Heathrow Country Club. The sold out tournament raised $27,000 for this worthy cause.

07-06-09 DeSilva Communications has launched a series of City Golf Championships to promote the game of golf, provide players with a fun, competitive sporting event
and engage the local business community to promote their products and services by supporting the Tournament. Golfers of ALL levels are invited to play in this major City Wide Championship Golf Tournament. This unique event provides the opportunity for that local golfer (both hacker and accomplished golfer alike), to compete and be crowned "The City Golf Champion." The Two (2) day Tournament is comprised of Five Flights based on a Handicap of 0 - 30. For those players who do not have an official USGA handicap index, the FLPGA will provide a handicap based on the GHIN system. The City Golf Championship is the single largest Amateur Golf Tournament held on two outstanding golf courses in the City. The weekend event is open to men, women, juniors and seniors.
